Overcomers House Incorporated was founded in 2007. It is a non-profit Social Service Resource Center, located in Snellville, Georgia, that strives to fight against hunger and heartache in Gwinnett and surrounding counties.
Our Mission is to equip and empower individuals who are facing life's challenges with life-changing tools; through programs moderated by our team of skilled professionals. Overcomers House, Inc. supports individuals committed to rebuilding their lives. We provide the services necessary for our clients “conquering our struggles, one step at a time.”
Our services include a once-a-week food pantry, weekly support meetings, several annual events, the Back to School Giveaway, Community Job & Resource Fair, the Ella Fountain Holiday Turkey Basket Giveaway; and our Annual Appreciation & Fundraiser & Silent Auction. Since 2015, we witnessed some incredible experiences; feeding more than 3,000 families, supplying 600 children with school supplies, helping 11 people earn a GED, and guiding seven people to full-time employment.
It takes a team of dedicated professionals, volunteers and generous sponsors and supporters to make sure our programs are reaching out to as many individuals and families as it can so that everyone that needs it has access to our free programs. We're fortunate to have some of the best dedicating their time, energy, and expertise to our cause.
