To reduce our community’s “risk factor” and promote achievement and social success, we offer counseling , individual and group peer counseling, job readiness, as well as life skills training.
Currently the program offers group counseling sessions on an as-needed basis.
In 2016, thus far we’ve served over 4800 members, assisting and meeting their basic needs. Our targeted population includes low-to-moderate income families, the unemployed, and individuals with, or recovering from chemical dependency.
We have experienced success, as we are faced with a growing number of participants. We also host events involving the larger community, to reach out and maintain connections with the families we serve.

Did you know that there are currently thousands of people living close by that do not have the funds to afford basic essentials such as food and clothing? We, at Overcomers House, Inc., are working hard to STOP HUNGER these needs for the residents of Gwinnett and DeKalb Counties.

In order to help us achieve our goal, we rely on donations from individuals like you. Without the continued support of generous donors, these needs will likely go unmet. Your donation will help to support our mission to “Conquering our Struggles One Step at a Time.”

Staying operational when donations and grant funds are down is a common hardship we face as a  nonprofit organization. Our high end thriftstore helps to sustain our operations year round. Your support by means of donations of slightly use items is greatly appreciated. Items can be dropped off at our office or scheduled for pickup
