ABOUT US
Overcomers House Incorporated was founded in 2009. It is a non-profit Social Service Resource Center, located in Snellville, Georgia, that strives to fight against hunger and heartache in Gwinnett and surrounding counties.
Our Mission is to equip and empower individuals who are facing life's challenges with life-changing tools; through programs moderated by our team of skilled professionals. Overcomers House, Inc. supports individuals committed to rebuilding their lives. We provide the services necessary for our clients “conquering our struggles, one step at a time.”
Our services include a twice-a-week food pantry, several annual events, the Back to School Giveaway, the Ella Fountain Holiday Toy and Turkey Basket Giveaway; Thanksgiving Turkey baskets and our Annual Appreciation Fundraiser & Silent Auction. Since 2015, we witnessed some incredible experiences; feeding more than 3,000 families, supplying 600 children with school supplies, helping 11 people earn a GED, and guiding seven people to full-time employment.

Meet The Team
It takes a team of dedicated professionals, volunteers, generous sponsors and supporters to make sure that our programs are reaching out to as many individuals and families as possible so that everyone that is in need has access to our free programs. We are very fortunate to have some of the best individuals dedicating their time, energy, and expertise to our cause at Overcomers House, Inc.

Executive Director
Ann Mills
Ms. Ann is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. She has been with the agency since 2009.

Inventory Manager
Greg Mills
Mr. Greg ensures adequate inventory of materials and products. He conducts daily inventory analysis, develops and implements inventory control procedures. He has been with the agency since 2009.

Assistant Director
Lashonda Billingsley
Ms. Shonda performs high-level administrative support. She also prepares correspondence, maintains sensitive data and manages communications. She has been with the agency since 2009.

Senior Acquisition Associate
Dwayne Billingsley
Mr. Dwayne procures and transports food and other products provided by our business partners. He is also responsible for off-loading and storage. He keeps track of inventory data and observes safe food handling procedures. He has been with the agency since 2009.

Pantry Manager
Dorothy Simmons
Ms. Dot supports training & supervision. She sorts and assembles food boxes in preparation for distribution; she also manages inventory and the stocking of dry and canned food items. She has been with the agency since 2012.

Thrift Store Assistant
Isabella Cheesewright
Ms. Isabella volunteers as needed at the director’s request. She is largely responsible for managing all thrift store transactions, stocking, setting-up displays, customer check-out and registration. She has been with the agency since 2015.

Thrift Store Manager
Geneva Rucker
Ms. Geneva is responsible for inventory, pricing, product presentation and customer check-out. She tracks the earnings, maintains receipts and financial records. She has been with the agency since 2018.

Senior Program Coordinator
Teresa Mance
Ms. Teresa collaborates with the community and other agencies to increase access & services for senior citizens experiencing food insecurity. She is responsible for enrollment, inventory, federal compliance, data collection and product delivery. She has been with the agency since 2018.

Pantry Assistant
Josh Pascoe
Mr. Josh is responsible for sorting and packaging food and assisting with inventory. He also helps in keeping the building clean and sanitary for the community and staff. He has been with the agency since 2019.

Grants Manager
Sherrica Grant
Ms. Sherrica explores funding opportunities for the agency. She creates detailed and persuasive proposals that meet funding criteria to earn grant money. Grants allow the agency to provide valuable financial assistance to the community. She has been with the agency since 2019.

Pantry Manager
Gregory Grant
Mr. Greg oversees the efficient operation of the food pantry. He procures and transports food and other products. He is also responsible for off-loading and storage while observing safe food handling procedures. He has been with the agency since 2022.

Office Manager/Volunteer Coordinator
Stephen Willis
Mr. Steve oversees day-to-day operations, supervises volunteer recruitment, training & duty assignments . He also manages the agency’s website but you can usually find him registering everyone for our bi-weekly food distribution. He has been with the agency since 2022.

Case Manager
Gloria Wilder
Ms. Gloria assists people with housing-related matters that impact their stability, health, income and overall wellbeing. She conducts intakes, collects relevant data and documentation and strategizes dynamic solutions for multiple crisis. She has been with the agency since 2022.

Pantry Supervisor
Byron Bennett
Mr. Byron works closely in the supervision of volunteers and ensures everyone has a duty assignment. He is responsible for the inhouse transport of palleted food items and regularly assists customers with loading their food. He has been with the agency since 2023.

Thrift Store Assistant/Receptionist
Wanda Adams
Ms. Wanda assists in the bi-weekly operation of the thrift store and regularly serves in the capacity as the agency’s receptionist. She often contributes to the prearrangement and stocking of food items and other products. She has been with the agency since 2024.
